Logitech MX Keys Review - It just gives me an excuse to work more! With the majority of us working from home during these times, it wouldn’t be a surprise that some of us are looking for products to upgrade our home office. I’ve been meaning to upgrade my desk setup for some time (and that’s for another post), but the things that I’m touching the most when I’m working are definitely my keyboard and mouse. So as part of my desk setup upgrade, I’ve decided to get the Logitech’s MX Bundle after hearing so much rave about it, which includes the Logitech MX Keys and the Logitech MX Master 3 mouse. And a wrist pad… Can’t forget the wrist pad. For this particular post though, I’ll just focus on the keyboard (which is what I’m using to type this up now). Price I wanted to get this out of the way first because this is probably the biggest downside to this bundle - it’s definitely not cheap. Even with the discount I managed to get from my credit card, the entire bundle still ended up at $300 AUD...
Circles!
One week trip in South Island. Started off snowboarding at Coronet Peak where I finally learnt how to complete the s turn (It's only my second time properly snowboarding, my previous times going to the snow were for skiing). The snow was so much softer and fluffier than the snow at Perisher (which made crashing landing so much more easier).
Since most of us in the group (except for one) were snowboarding "beginners", we were pretty easily amused by just doing circles with our boards in the snow. If you don't know what that is, just check out the below (it's not us - we're weren't that in sync but it's goals)

After a few days of snowboarding (or more like beers on the slope), we started our road trip towards the Hermitage in Mount Cook.
It's a bit out of the way to our next stop, but if you do get a chance I would highly recommend to stay a night here. The view is absolutely amazing.
The main highlight of the trip however, would definitely be the glacier hike at Fox Glaciers. My first time riding a helicopter, and also my first time visiting the glaciers. We went with Fox Glacier Guiding who were awesome in catering to us. If you do plan to visit the glaciers however, I would recommend to be really flexible with your plan as the weather is completely unpredictable, and the pilot makes the call whether to go ahead with the flight 10 mins before take off.
For us, on the day we planned to go up it was too rainy and windy for the helicopter, so we had to decide last minute to forgo one night of accommodation in Christchurch to stay an extra night in Fox Glacier for the chance to go up. We took that chance and stayed that extra day, we dropped by Lake Matheson (which is known as the most reflective lake in New Zealand). Except because it was a rainy day, the lake was not as reflective since the water has to be still. But it was still nice to see regardless. I personally think the cloudy atmosphere added to the mood of the photo.
Luckily for us the next morning, the sky cleared up a lot, and we were able to take the flight up! Will definitely be an experience I'll never forget.
